My research interests lie within the core areas of public and labor economics with focus on taxation, labor supply, optimization frictions and inequality. I work on these topics with a primarily empirical approach using reduced-form and non-parametric methods, such as e.g. bunching.

I have a past both in and out of academia. After graduating as a MSc in Economics I started working in the Danish Ministry of Finance and I remained affiliated to the ministry during my PhD studies. In the Ministry of Finance (and later the Ministry of Taxation), I worked extensively on practical policy evaluation and policy formulation using both empirical methods and economics modellering.
